My Reaction to the SecretSauce Ads Popping Up in My Browser

Recently, I found these strange ad pop-ups from something called SecretSauce. These claim some sites I would go to aren't to be trusted (which is false, seriously, I have no idea why!). I often get around 1-3 pop-ups every time I go online. Who would want that in the Internet? This isn't intended to be a rant, but I just want to point out what I don't like about this strange thing that is driving me insane. I don't really trust these set of pop-ups, they're like junk e-mails...

My reaction: Really annoyed to the bone, no kidding!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas (or whatever equivalent you celebrate depending on your religion or culture or nationality) to you all. Be safe, and eat and drink in moderate, 'cuz too much of everything hurts anyone.

My Reaction to Power Rangers SPD's Sky Tate's (Almost) Sexist Comment on Syd Drew's Potential Leadership

Man, I saw the 2-part opening episode of Power Ranger SPD online, and one of the scenes that got into my nerves the bad way is that SPD Blue Ranger Sky Tate making a seemingly sexist reply to B-Squad Commander Doggie Kruger's question if he's willing to follow one of his teammates, SPD Pink Ranger Syd Drew, should she be the Red Ranger of their squad (though this would be filled in by Jack Landros at the end.). I was thinking, Dude, that's not funny. Are YOU a sexist?
I'm not trying to hurt his opinion (he's dying to be the Red Ranger like his dad before), but he needs to wash his mouth from the slur he made. Was Disney (who held the Power Rangers franchise at the time SPD (& the three previous seasons (since Wild Force mid-season) & those after until RPM)) thinking when this was aired? Not going to lie, but that's one of the most horrible slanders I've heard on a TV show, let alone a kids' show, like Power Rangers. As a kid who was born in the year the franchise began & sees them progress over the years, that's really lousy of him. Right now, he's one of my least favorite (male) Blue Rangers for being Mr. Grumpy Bear, too much of a workaholic & somewhat a jerk at the same time. No offense Sky fans, but he's not my type. (Jaw drops & face-palms)

I did wrote an essay in my Wordpress blog on applying Feminism in a Mickey Mouse short 'The Klondike Kid', link is provided. A fan-made video I made will be uploaded soon.

My Reaction: disappointed, and ashamed of SPD Blue. (Sky, you're a naughty boy! Your father is rolling his head in his grave by now...)

My Reaction to My Celeb Crush Being a Traffic Warden/ Enforcer for a Day

I found this video while web-surfing. It has to do with my celeb crush Danny 'Hottie' Radcliffe being a junior traffic warden or enforcer. At first, I was wondering, seriously, Danny, are you giving me a ticket for staring at you and breaking the parking laws?!?

To be honest, the guy who was scrutinized by Danny was stunned to see him trying to give a him a violation ticket and warning, even grabbing the guy's shirt doesn't seem to help at all for him as a teen in the video, judging from the hair length and style he had in there. The guy took out his (Danny's) hat, Danny pushed him out, and the guy punched him in the face! Talk about contemporary slapstick comedy, that blow didn't even faze him from scolding the man. In my mind, I was guessing he was going to tell the police about that crazy guy and what he had done onto him. So glad I won't see him giving a verbal warning in the future now that he actually got a more stable job (aka acting) than giving violation tickets and verbal warnings & getting punched on the face...

My Reaction: Shocked, stunned and laughing at him in the same time! (Sorry, Danny, but that 'dream' job of yours has job hazards like the clip states so...) And total LOL moments with the face punch scene!

Harry Potter, a Traffic Warden/ Enforcer?!?

My Reaction to Megan Young being the First Pinay Miss World

I got a big surprise when I heard Filipino actress Megan Young revealed her intentions to join Miss World Philippines (now headed by Cory Quirino) a few months back. At first, I really doubt if she could make it, but then, she proved me wrong. She ended up winning the title to represent the Philippines this year in Bali, Indonesia.

Since Indonesia has a Muslim majority, they replaced with sarongs (they're very versitile, if I ask me). Then she got a solo for the World Dances (Tinikling style!). Then she won the Miss World Top Model (no, not that America's Next Top Model-esque!), landed 5th in the beach fashion and is 4th place for the Multimedia portion. Fast-tracks are said to be crucial for a future MW, and, in Megan's case, it really did! And, she won Miss World. Her, a Starstruck Avenger turned Kapamilya starlet, as the very first Pinay Miss World? Really surprising! Anyway: You go, girl!

Reaction: Totally Surprised!!!

Scooby Doo and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Crossover Series

I have published this series initailly for YouTube purposes, but then I changed my mind, and went to publish it in FanFiction.Net, hence a series is born.
This is made for the Power Rangers' 20th anniversary, adding Scooby Doo in.

Check out the first story: Scooby Doo & the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on Zombie Island

Check out the differences between the two trailers:

My Reaction when My Play's Story Plot Got an Unanimous Group Vote, & Got Approved by My Drama Professor (though in need of some improvements)

Last Tuesday, my Drama was supposed to submit a scene outline for our play-writing project for our Drama subject. After awhile, my group did our stage reading of Luna: Isang Romansang Aswang by Rody Vera, then proceeded in doing our report on that same play.

Later, we had a playwright session on characterization, before we have to decide which play we should use for the group performance, which is our project for our finals. It turns out, two of the plays my group wrote got approvals from our prof, one was from one irregular; the other was mine. After we looked over them, my group found my play the most interesting: they said it was a pastiche of all pop culture. Awkward!

When it was time for us to pick, we picked mine right away. For me, it was something surreal. Like, honestly, never happened much in my life. Our prof agreed with it, but felt confused with my initial idea. Call it an unlikely spiritual successor of 'The Breakfast Club'. He told us that we should work on it, and use it as a take-off point of what we envision it as a play.

Overall reaction: Completely stunned!
